  2. Judges have the power to withhold prizes and awards as they see fit.
  3. No access to the showfield will be granted unless wearing the correct wristband.
  4. Any person willfully creating a disturbance will be expelled from the showground.
  5. By entering any class, competitors agree to their details being published in advertising and results, in accordance with The Data Protection Act.
  6. Winning items from previous shows cannot be reentered.
  7. Classes are grouped in school years. However, do not forget to look at wider groupings such as years 3 to 6, or open age. Indicate your school year as it may be taken into account. If you are under 16 and entering an adult class please display your age on the front of your entry.
  8. Entries must be in an individual’s name, not just the school name.
  9. Entries are open to all and are not restricted to local schools.
  10. Entries must be your own, unaided work. Would parents of young children please note that judging becomes very difficult where there has been parental input.
  11. Please keep models to a reasonable size (except group models). Kits are not acceptable.
  12. If the word 'painting' appears then the entry must be in paint, not crayon or felt tip. All artwork must be on A4 paper as indicated and mounted with a 2cm border.
  13. Class number must be on the front, names on the back.
  14. The maximum size for photographs is A4 (including mount).
  15. Paintings/photos must have been done/taken by you, and don't need to be mounted/framed.
  16. Handwriting entries must be mounted and on unlined A4, (although guide lines beneath the top sheet can be used as an aid). It is the handwriting that will be judged, not decorative borders. In the event of a tie spelling will count.
  17. It is advised that cookery be on good quality paper or plastic plates.
  18. If your entry in the textiles classes has been used, check to make sure it's clean.
  19. For any homemade preserve, fill the jar to the very top and put a full date on the label.
Names/Trade names should not appear on the label. (Ideally, chutney should be at least two months old so that the flavours have developed.)
  20. Please wrap all food entries in cling film.
  21. Any complaints should be made to the secretary in writing with a £20.00 deposit to be forfeited if their complaint is found to be frivolous.
  22. If the show is cancelled due to weather conditions or other circumstances beyond the Show Committee's control, entry fees are non-refundable and expenses will not be allowed.
